Used Apple Laptop Compatibility
Any used laptop you buy - whether online or from a regular store - will have some compatibility concerns that you must be aware of. These concerns don't make used Apple laptops a bad purchase, it just means you have to do some homework before buying new drives or other upgrades.
eBay makes searching for and purchasing used Apple laptops and upgrades very easy. Their sellers' listings will usually give you all the information you need to deal with compatibility issues. So how do you search the listings effectively?
For example, let's say you want to upgrade disk drives. Before you start your search, write down your the specification of your used Apple laptop. The specs you need include information on the processor and its speed, how much hard drive space your used laptop has and how much it will need to run the new drive, and your laptop's memory. Now you can start your search.
Ebay sellers - the good ones anyway - will have all of the information about the disk drives in their listings. They will tell you what your used Apple laptop must be capable of to run the drives they are selling. In fact, you can add those specifications into your search on eBay to return only the listings that do match your needs.
